New Patient Information
How do I get an appointment?
For a consultation with one of our physicians, we do require a referral per Ontario Ministry of Health guidelines from a licensed health care professional.
Referrals should be sent to our centralized referrals fax: 905-472-1198.
Your referral is valid for 24 months.
What happens after my physician refers me?
It typically takes between 24-72 (business) hours to process a new referral. We will contact you at the number provided to give you an appointment.
If you miss our call, a voicemail will be left with instructions on how to book your appointment.
What happens if my issue is urgent?
We triage all referrals based on medical need. If your referring physician or the triaging staff determines that your need is urgent, we will expedite your appointment. Time from referral to first appointment for a standard issue can vary from 3 weeks to 6 weeks. We will give you the first available timeslot. Please note, we do not keep a cancelation list. Cancelations are typically reserved for urgent patients or emergencies.
How long can I expect to wait?
We aim to give each patient the time that they need in their consultation with their physician, and sometimes things take longer than we hope. We will see emergency fit-ins.
It is our goal to see you on time, however, wait times can vary from 5 minutes to 1.5 hours. Please ensure that you take adequate time off school or work to attend your appointment.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Absolutely! However, we have an incredibly high demand for appointments so we highly recommend keeping your original appointment if at all possible. It is likely that we will not have an available appointment during the same time period. We will always give you the next available appointment.
Where will I be seen?
We have two locations, they are located across the street from each other.
