Currently, Lynde Dermatology continues to see semi-urgent and urgent appointments only in our clinic, as triaged and booked by a telephone consultation with the physician. Physicians will begin scheduling more patients for in-person appointments as government legislation and guidelines allow. Please do not come to our clinic unless specifically booked for an appointment by a staff member or physician.

New patients, or patients with updated information are asked to fill out our intake form and bring it to their appointment. The form can be found here.

Patients will be subject to a screening protocol upon coming to the clinic for their pre-scheduled in-person appointment. A link to our full screening questionnaire can be found here. Patients may also be subject to temperature screening.

We ask that patients not come with a support person or family member (unless medically necessary). Non-essential support persons will be asked to wait outside until the appointment is complete. Any support person permitted to enter will be subject to our screening protocol.

Effective June 1, 2020, all patients and visitors to our clinic are required to wear a face covering (surgical masks, homemade mask, bandana or other) while in our facility. Masks must be brought from home as they will not be provided. Gloves are recommended for wear in our clinic, however; they are not required and not provided. Proper handwashing and the use of antibacterial hand sanitizer continues to be the most effective way to stop the spread of illness.

To comply with physical distancing guidelines, patients will be permitted to enter our clinic through the Washington Street entrance (East side) and patients will be asked to exit through the Main Street doors (West side).

Lynde Dermatology will only allow a specified number of persons in our waiting room. Patients are asked to come no earlier than five (5) minutes prior to their appointment time for screening.

Please have your health cards ready. Health cards are required at each visit.

Upon completion of your appointment, patients are asked to book their next appointment and pay for any non-OHIP services at the checkout desk situated at the exit doors onto Main Street.

Communication with our patients is of utmost importance during this time. If you wish to scheduled a telephone appointment with the physician, please email us at virtualhealth@lynderma.com or call 905-201-5530. Due to the high volume of patient voice messages, patients who have access to email are encouraged to use this medium to avoid delays in response. Please only send one email request. Voice messages will be checked and triaged for urgency. Please only leave a voice message if you do not have access to email. Please only leave one voice message.

We continue to monitor and follow the legislative guidelines as outlined. Note, some of these guidelines change rapidly, often daily. Please continue to check the website for additional information and updates. We will post acceptance of general, non-urgent in-person patient appointment information soon.
